Skin Booster
What are Skin Boosters?
Skin Boosters are injectables that improve skin texture, elasticity, hydration and overall appearance.
Treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a soft, gel-like substance under the skin, which improves the skin’s elasticity, firmness and radiance giving an overall skin quality.
Skin boosters are often called skin quality as they improve and enhance the overall quality and health of the skin.
Why you’ll love it?
Think of this as your skincare, but turbo-boosted.
Skin Booster improves your skin quality in a way your ordinary face creams can’t.
Whether you’re preparing for a special event or just want to refresh your skin, this non-surgical procedure delivers visible radiance with virtually no downtime, ensuring you achieve maximum glow.
It is best for:
Step 1: Consultation and Skin Prep
Includes consultation to know your skin type and what type of treatment your skin needs and basic skin preparation before your treatment.
Step 2: Treatment Session
The skin booster is administered via micro-injections into the target area.
A fine needle or an injector gun may be used, with the provider carefully controlling the depth and speed of the injection.
This process delivers substances like hyaluronic acid deep into the skin to boost hydration and stimulate collagen production.
Step 3: Aftercare at Home
We will go over specific aftercare instructions, such as avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours, avoiding excessive heat (saunas, steam), and not touching the face for a few hours.
You will also be advised on post-treatment skincare, including protecting the skin from sun exposure by using SPF 30 or higher.
Aftercare for Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are administered with tiny needles in a micro-injection technique. Aftercare is important to keep the injection sites clean and avoid infection.
Avoid any heat inducing activities for 48 hours such as strenuous exercise, spas, saunas and steam rooms.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid active cosmeceutical products (AHAs, retinols, vitamin C) on the night of treatment and oil-based makeup for 24 hours.
You can lightly cleanse on the day of treatment using light pressure.
Avoid touching the face on the day of treatment to avoid infection.
Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, microdermabrasion, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks after treatment.
Do not massage the treatment area unless instructed to do so.
